Our sweet little babe is eight months old today! This little guy has really grown these past couple of months. He loves to eat and it shows, he’s a little chunk! He has 2 teeth with 3 more popping through - 3 on top and 2 on bottom. His smile is so infectious and you can’t help but want to squeeze him every second of the day. He is so fun and full of personality, he makes our world go round. He’s all over the house in his walker getting into everything at reach. When we tell him “no” he smiles and giggles as he thinks were saying his nickname, “no no”. A habit we are trying to break, ha. We went on our first beach trip as a family and he loved it. He loved playing in the sand and getting in the water. He only tried to eat the sand once. I can hardly believe another month has went by. This little boy gives us life. Happy eight months our little bear, we love you! E I G H T M O N T H M E M O R I E S He’s pulling up on things to stand He’s scooting around He loves being outside He loves baby puff strawberry bites He smiles at everyone He has 2 teeth with 3 more coming through He’s reaching to be picked up He’s in 9-12 month clothes He loves to clap and wave his hands He has started eating table food He’s grabbing and reaching for everything at grasp He’s learned how to give sweet kisses He loves to be held He’s a smiley flirt He has random chatty/squeeling outburts that are so cute He takes 2-3 cat naps a day and sleeps all night

Our little bear is seven months old! He’s hitting so many new milestones and I’m so proud yet I want to cry because he’s becoming so independent. Just wishing he would stay my baby forever. His sweet little face lights up and his arms go to flapping when we pick him up in the evenings from Nana’s. Our evening’s consists of walks around the neighborhood, rolling all over the house in his walker, eating, bath-time, and cuddles. We finally had a tooth come in and he loves to show it off for the world to see. We’re patiently waiting on those first words. . I say “ma-ma” and “da-da” on repeat so we’re wondering which he will say first, ha! It’s been the best seven months of our lives and I’ll forever wish to freeze every moment in between. He’s the happiest in the morning – all smiles and so loving. He loves to play peek-a-boo with the covers, it’s become a morning favorite for the three of us. His belly laugh is the sweetest sound I’ve ever heard. He’s easy to crack a smile with a simple look. He is grabbing at everything and wants to put anything at reach in his mouth. We’ve started baby foods and he has liked everything he’s tried so far. He reminds me of a baby bird when he eats, always so eager for more, ha. Happiest six months.. You're so smart and kind - always wearing that radiant smile everywhere you go. You're a ray of sunshine, oh we love you so! F I V E M O N T H S O L D My happy, sweet, darling baby boy is 5 months old! I’m going to freak out next month when he’s halfway to being 1 year old! I am SO not ready for that. For now I’ll stay in denial and cuddle him closely and soak up all the love and attention he gives me. I know one day not too far away he will be crawling away and running from me. I want to remember all of him, every inch of adorable chubbiness and wrinkles on his legs, neck, and tummy, the way he smiles at me right after he eats, his soft silky skin, the energetic happy kicks he does all day long, his squeals, squeaks, yelps, and giggles. The smell of his hair, his cheeks, and his breath. The splashes he has started to make in the bath. The way he is ticklish now just like me. The way he wraps his arms around me and holds my hand while he sleeps. He's always so calm in a crowd but shows his silly/excited personality at home. He is so playful, cuddly, loving, and sweet. I will forever wish for time to slow down. F I V E M O N T H M E M O R I E S Loves chewing on hands and toys Loves to snuggle Loves playing in his walker He is babbling more than ever He smiles all the time He loves to splash in the bath tub He loves to play pee-a-boo He loves to roll over onto his side and tummy He loves being held He loves playing with his feet He loves being outside He moved from his bassinet at night into his crib Hes wearing 3-6 month or 4-6 months clothes He's Sitting (in this leaning forward position) on his own He gets upset/excited when we leave/enter the room He's still teething but still no signs of teeth He loves being thrown up in the air by daddy At his last doctor visit he weighed 15 pounds, 6 ounces My little bear, Happy 5 months... now lets freeze time and stay here for a longer moment. . . because I'm pretty sure this is my favorite stage. Although I've said that every month of your life. Mama and daddy love you so much!
F O U R M O N T H S O L D We know have a four month old! This four month stage has been so much fun. It amazes me how much he changes week by week, right in front of my eyes, he’s doing something new. Our evenings are filled with lots of interactive playtime, goofy faces, snap chat fun, cartoons, and feedings. He’s had a touch of evening colic so we have to hold him a lot, some days are more challenging than others. Nolan is very social and generous with his smiles now. He gives us a good laugh with his grunty-pursed lip look, he is such a handsome little fella. He’s working so hard on rolling over and practicing his superman moves. His new thing is fake coughing, we will say “is the baby sick” and he’ll give a smile so big and start his little coughing fit, he’s quite the comedian. We’re 1/3 of the way to his first birthday, time please slow down! F O U R M O N T H M E M O R I E S He’s still in 0-3 month clothes, some 3-6 fit depending on the brand He’s in size 2 diapers He’s starting to hold his own bottle He has learned to roll over He has the cutest belly laugh He has cut back on his Paci a lot – he prefers his fingers He’s grabbing and playing with his feet He likes to be propped up with pillows or in his Bumbo sitting up right He’s developed his own babble language He’s putting everything at reach in his mouth He’s drooling more than ever - we go through bibs galore He loves being outside He loves to people watch He loves when we make silly faces He tolerates tummy time better He’s outgrowing his bouncer He loves looking at himself in the mirror He loves high pitched funny voices He can fall asleep on his own at bedtime He’s officially a fan of Easter Little bear,
You have made our family so happy and whole, we love you more everyday. I love your contagious smile and your chuckle that lights up a room. Thank you for being such a wonderful, happy baby. I’m forever thankful that God chose me to be your mama. Happy four months, we love you to the moon and back. T H R E E M O N T H S O L D
My little bear is 3 months old! I fall more in love with him by day. Nolan has gotten so interactive this month which has made it SO fun for us. He’s starting to look so much more like me since he’s fattened up a little, ha! My Nana says he even acts like me at times, bless him, ha! At his last appointment he weighed 13 pounds, 6 ounces, and 25 ½ inches long. He’s doing so many new things: he giggling, sitting up (with assistance), and playing. He absolutely loves attention and he feels ignored he’ll let you know with the cutest pout and fake cry. I’m back at my full time day job… my first day was SO hard. I got up extra early just so I could give myself time to let go when I dropped him off at my Nana’s. I squeezed, hugged, cried, and cried some more. I enjoyed every moment I got to spend with Nolan on my maternity leave, it just went too fast. The three month stage has been great but certainty had its challenges as well. I love to spend my evenings at home with my two boys and our fur baby, Josie. Nolan has had a touch of colic in the evenings making it hard to cook or do any wifely duties. We hold him most of the time until he settles down for his evening nap. I’ve started back (part time) with photo shoots so I’m staying pretty busy. Nolan goes to bed between 9:45-10:00 so I try to spend that time editing up until bedtime. I’m so blessed to have the most understanding, patient clients ever. March has been a wonderful, busy month for our little family. T H R E E M O N T H M E M O R I E S He’s 0-3 month clothes He’s in size 2 diapers He doesn’t mind diaper changes He’s giggling and squealing, it’s oh so cute He’s imitating sounds we make Recognizes mommy and daddy He’s putting full body weight on his legs He loves to kick and push himself away He loves his Bumbo and Play Matt He’s rolling over on his side He loves to kick his legs He loves bath time He has to be the center of attention He drools a lot – teething is near He likes to play alone for the most part He tried oatmeal cereal in his bottle, he hates it His favorite show is Daniel Tiger T W O M O N T H S O L D
Our sweet babe is two months old! He’s growing way too fast and it gets me all in the feels when I type up his monthly memories. << Over the past two months I’ve laughed, cried, and yawned more than ever. I have found that I expect way too much out of myself as a mother and photographer. I’m learning to slow down and enjoy a moment rather than thinking of all the things I have to do. Raising a child a little sacrifice and here lately that’s me deciding to leave on my PJ’s rather than putting on real clothes, making myself get out of the house rather than choosing a nap. Let’s be honest, we’ve all been there. My husband has been the best help when it comes to house cleaning and the laundry, I'm married to the best. I wouldn’t trade the moments I have with my little bear for anything. Being a mom has given me a new purpose and I couldn’t be more grateful. He’s the happiest little thing and he makes my days so much brighter. T W O M O N T H M E M O R I E S We now have a sleep all nighter (thank ya Jesus) – he goes to bed between 9:00-10:00 every night. He loves his hair stroked Stroking in between his eyes helps him fall asleep He takes cat naps during the day He likes to sleep on his side and back He is now a fan of bath time He smiles so big with baby talk He’s still in 0-3 month clothes He loves holding my fingers when he’s eating He loves sucking on his hands and fingers He’s very observant and curious of the world around him He loves colorful objects around him He’s not a fan of tummy time He’s grabbing and holding onto small objects He has found my hair He loves holding my fingers O N E M O N T H O L D
It’s been a month since Nolan Lane Eldreth came into the world. He fits into our lives so perfect. We’re slowly getting the hang of parenting. Our days off look a lot more boring now, (We take turns napping, ha)! Brandon is back at work, his week off went too fast. My days are filled with feedings, diaper changes, and cat naps but that feels pretty normal now. We’re on an adventure as we try to figure out this new life, working full time, running a part time business and staying afloat with friends and family. It’s complicated, unpredictable and messy at times, but I really wouldn’t have it any other way. In every season, including this one, I have been so blessed even when it gets hard. I’ll be returning to my day job soon, it’s truly bittersweet. I love every moment I get to spend with my little bear. I honestly can’t imagine a day without him but moms all over the world do it, as will I. O N E M O N T H M E M O R I E S He smiles a lot, especially in the morning. 7 a.m is his favorite, wish I could say the same for me. He’s a content, happy baby We’re still working on a bedtime routine. He’s sleeping in his bassinet beside our bed. He wakes up 2-3 times a night. He can sleep through anything, the sound of a vacuum does not bother him one bit He loves to EAT. We’re still breastfeeding, so far so good He’s a thumb sucker He’s an alert curious little thing He’s very strong - we didn’t have the wobbly newborn head stage all that much. He’s still fitting in his newborn clothes He legs are so tiny – ready for them to fatten up, ha! He still has brown hair and the prettiest blue eyes He dreams a lot and makes the cutest noises He loves to nap on our chest, we try not to make this a habit but it’s the sweetest bonding time We love rocking in his rocking chair He has the cutest mean mug look EVER Riding in the car is bliss…he falls asleep every time He sleeps with a fan, white noise helps him sleep longer He loves to hear me sing, it puts him right to sleep every time |
